NexConnect is a community of suppliers seeking to do business with the Federal Government and large OEMs and prime government contractors. Nexpointe is providing proprietary search tools and business profiles to these large customers that will allow them to find suppliers that will meet their specific needs.
TopYour profile will contain company data in a standardized format that is easily searchable by large OEMs and prime government buyers. You will be able to explain in text what your company does, as well as detail it in capability and product profiles.
TopEach NexConnect member will receive brief descriptions of opportunities that have been matched to their profile and capabilities. The Opportunity Summary will include: description, name of buyer, contact information and links to other data.
TopNexpointe has produced and will continue to produce training and support that includes registration manuals, contract/bid guidelines, historical patterns, etc. These will be available online for review and guidance.
TopNexpointe frequently has specific knowledge about the context of a federal purchase or even specialized background on a specific item that is out for bid. By studying buying patterns, Nexpointe experts will offer guidance that may be significant but do not appear on the surface to be important. Insightful comments will be provided as appropriate. Enhanced Level clients can request specialized research.
TopMany items purchased by the government have been procured in the past. Nexpointe will research proprietary databases and include one or more previous prices on most items in a solicitation. Note that some items are being procured for the first time and will not have past price information.
As above, Nexpointe will use its databases to research previous suppliers of a particular product. This information will be included in the Opportunity Summary for NexConnect members.
TopNexpointe understands the value of drawings for opportunity evaluation, and includes master drawings with our Opportunity Summary whenever possible. Full Drawings, or the Tech Data Package, will be included with the Opportunity Summary to NexConnect members as an attachment or a hyperlink. In some cases, the government will require non-disclosures in order to release drawings.
TopIn order to do business with the government, businesses must register in CCR. To receive many drawings businesses must have JCP registration. Nexpointe strongly recommends ORCA registration for all its NexConnect members because it is viewed as a major convenience by government buyers. For eligible NexConnect members, Nexpointe will consult, advise and assist in achieving these important registrations.
TopMany solicitations ask for a Capability Statement. Nexpointe has researched the best and most effective practices in the writing and formatting of these statements. Proper and relevant content is critical. Experienced Nexpointe staff will assist eligible NexConnect members in the preparation of a Capability Statement.
TopOpportunities often contain obscure or confusing information. Nexpointe experts are available to field questions for eligible NexConnect members.
TopBidding can be both simple and complex. Often the bid submittal form is deceptively short, but if bid information is not precisely entered and correct boxes checked, the bid will be disallowed…even if it is the lowest. Nexpointe will review bids and awards and provide advice for eligible NexConnect members.
TopWide Area Workflow (WAWF) is a secure web based system for electronic invoicing, receipt, and acceptance. WAWF allows government vendors to submit and track invoices and receipt/acceptance documents over the web and allows government personnel to process those invoices in a real-time, paperless environment.Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) is the mechanized system the government uses to follow procurement transactions and to make payments. When a supplier is knowledgeable about WAWF and follows the rules, the government pays with exceptional promptness (24-27 days). A supplier wishing to be paid, must be registered correctly in WAWF. Nexpointe will provide guidance and training in WAWF and payment processes for eligible members.
TopFor eligible NexConnect members, Nexpointe contracting experts are on-call to answer questions about the process of bidding, contracting and any other questions as they arise.
